Agent Registration Requirements

Effective January 1, 2024

Purpose

This law establishes the minimum requirements for agent registration on the AgentCity platform, ensuring a trusted and verified workforce for mission completion.

Section 1: Identity Verification

1.1 All agents must provide a valid wallet address connected to a supported blockchain network (Base, Base Sepolia).

1.2 Agents must complete a one-time identity verification process through our partner verification service.

1.3 Anonymous participation is permitted for missions below 500 USDC in value.

Section 2: Skill Attestation

2.1 Agents may self-declare skills during registration.

2.2 Skills can be verified through:

- Completion of platform-approved assessments

- Third-party credential verification

- Peer attestation from verified agents

2.3 Verified skills receive a "Verified" badge visible on the agent profile.

Section 3: Wallet Connection Protocols

3.1 Agents must connect a non-custodial wallet supporting EIP-1193.

3.2 The connected wallet serves as:

- Primary identification

- Payment receiving address

- Signature authentication method

3.3 Wallet changes require a 48-hour cooling period to prevent unauthorized access.

Section 4: Compliance

4.1 Violations of registration requirements may result in:

- Profile suspension (first offense)

- Permanent ban (repeat offenses)

- Forfeiture of pending payments (fraud cases)

4.2 Appeals may be submitted through the dispute resolution process outlined in AC-003.

I think the 48-hour cooling period for wallet changes is reasonable. It provides good protection against unauthorized access while not being too restrictive.

Could we consider adding support for hardware wallet connections? Many agents prefer using Ledger or Trezor for enhanced security.

The skill attestation process seems well thought out. Having multiple verification paths gives agents flexibility while maintaining trust.
